Client: South Jersey Magazine

A portrait commissioned by South Jersey Magazine for an article on Jon Bon Jovi and what a humanitarian he is. After reading the article, the first thing that came to mind was, “he ‘s a renaissance man”. I incorporated as many aspects of his achievements as I could.

I wanted to try something a little different, so instead of Arches watercolor paper, I took a queue from a few illustrators that I admire, and gave Rives etching paper a whirl. I liked the effect and will more than likely continue experimenting with it.
